A chance visit to Parmiters one Sunday morning in September 2003 and Ladbury was caught so spellbound by the Woodhurst style, he knew he had to be a part of it.
One of Woodhurst's more mature players, Patrick has made a name for himself at Nelson Road as a hard-working, honest and reliable member of the team. It's just a shame he can't shoot for toffee, couldn't trap a bag of sand and has less pace than a tortoise with a limp.
He's a nice fellow, though.
